Worlds collide when young super hero in the making Piper and the troubled super-genius Sloan scuffle over a new gadget that forces each to re-examine their perceptions of the other.
Enthusiastic and athletic Piper and solitary yet intelligent Sloan attend the same middle school in Gotham, but that's where their similarities end - or so they assume. However, when their extra-curricular activities bring the two kids into conflict as super-hero and burglar, they are suddenly thrust into each others worlds where they discover that things are rarely as they seem, and must work together to resolve their difficulties and eventually save the day.
A cute yet thought-provoking story about how other people are never as simple as we often judge them to be and how getting to know people different from yourself is worth the effort. Some elements of Sloan's motivations and backstory are complex from a moral perspective, but I don't think it introduces themes that are inappropriately mature. The art is quite well done and there are some poignant lines.
*Yes, Batman does show up once or twice - not as a main character, but it is Gotham.
