A tale of two sisters and learning to find beauty in imperfection.
When older sister Violet gets a box of new crayons, she finds herself unexpectedly reluctant to draw anything because she knows that once she uses them, they will no longer look perfect.
I loved the images of Violet's imagination, which were woven throughout the story, and the consistency of using crayon illustrations for the book. The story does have a lot of tension and conflict, which I found a bit stressful, but I think that, overall, it was a good story about siblings, sharing, and even (in a very small way) forgiveness.
